- 10+ years low level software development experience on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux or Embedded system
- Confirmed capability to proactively drive and close technical design/debug sessions
- Stellar multi-functional communication skills
- Proficient programming skills and knowledge of C/C++
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
- AR/VR or spatial computing industrial/academic experiences is a bonus
- Experience in hardware/software co-simulation, and pre-silicon validation is a plus
- Knowledge of modern digital camera technologies, image sensors, and ISP pipelines is a plus
- Strong written and oral interpersonal skills

This is a highly multi-functional product development role, and you will work closely with various teams, like Silicon Design, Camera Hardware, QA, and the Media Frameworks team. The environment is dynamic and requires a self-starter demeanor. In this role, you will: Develop new kernel and user-land drivers and camera technologies for future products from prototyping phases, through to mass production, while maintaining existing Camera drivers Develop APIs for camera apps, be involved in ISP feature specifications, pre-silicon validation, silicon bring-up, and tools creation Work on HW validation, and provide software support to factory testing Implement features to support hardware testing and diagnosis Work with cross-functional teams to improve camera stack efficiency, stability and debug-ability Factory feature and triage support

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
