Job Title: Senior Analyst, THX Retail Solutions
Job Location: Hershey, PA (Hybrid)
Summary:
Provide thought leadership, execute day-to-day solution support, and handle technical implementations for Hershey's retail applications ecosystem in THX (The Hershey Experience). Strategically assists the business assessments, solution design, technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics D365 solution and additional retail applications. Works to map overall design to business requirements and systems, ensuring solutions align with business goals and processes and fit the enterprise context.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage the Retail applications platform and solutions for Hershey's THX business. This includes:
- Scope and identify new capabilities, enhancements, and upgrades closely partnering with business leaders for Hershey's THX ecosystem, focused on these primary platforms:
- Dynamics 365 - THX ERP, Retail POS, B2C Ecomm OMS, Supply Chain, Finance
- Retail Ticketing - Chocolate World ticketing and attractions events technology
- Additional Retail capabilities including Kiosks, Food and Beverage, Attractions, Traffic counting, etc...
- Design detailed solution design and requirements on THX's technology platforms working with supporting technical partners.
- Scope and design data structures and supporting data analysis needs for key applications supporting THX.
- Design and support the integration architecture leveraging an API-based framework.
- Assist with platform configuration and administration between Hershey and external partners.
- Participate in support functions including day-to-day project support, working closely with internal team, Managed Service providers, QA, Operations, Vendor/partners and Business Owners
- Work closely with our domain architects and software development teams to support and guide development teams implementing solutions and ensure compliance to Hershey's best practices.
- Collaborate on planning and prioritization of user stories with the business leveraging Agile methodology.
- Manage the ongoing operating technology support model and partners, defining the process, SLAs, metrics, and escalation model.
- Investigate new technologies and techniques and research ongoing industry developments
- Direction of internal and external contract resources, ensuring that their work product matches the Hershey objectives and requirements and conforms to the Hershey Standards.
- Manage status communications with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other internal stakeholders.
Minimum Experience:
- 4+ years' experience in leading requirements gathering and documenting business requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O from an administrative and data management standpoint, or similar ERP
- 3+ years of relational database experience (SQL) and developing and analyzing data structures
- 2+ years of project experience including leading initiatives by analyzing systems design, assessing risk, and calculating business value
- 2+ years' experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications.
- 2+ years of API Design, using Web Services or other similar frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and report
- Experience working within an Agile methodology and team, including user story and acceptance criteria development and working with sprints
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
- High degree of initiative, dependability, integrity and ability to work with little supervision
- Strong knowledge with IT Service Management best practices
- Experience in Azure functions
- Experience in D365 reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience with analytical tools and flowcharting tools, such as Microsoft Visio
- Strong working knowledge of software development lifecycle and application lifecycle management
Preferred:
- Application mgmt. experience in Retail or attractions
- Setup and management of POS (Point of Sale) systems and applications
- Knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, X++, JavaScript and C#
- Experience with Avatax
- Experience working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Retail and CPG Industry experience working directly with Customers, Clients or Vendors.
