We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A, to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A will primarily be responsible for the daily maintenance of the corporate financial model and forecast. The Senior Analyst will thereby play a critical role in providing internal financial analysis to the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and key investors. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will assist in corporate reporting and budgeting and other ad hoc tasks. The Senior Analyst's efforts will allow Senior Management and others to understand business performance and areas of strength as well as opportunities for improvement. This is a critical position within the Finance organization with frequent exposure to Senior Management, the Board, and key investors.
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
  
• Prefer 5+ years of meaningful experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related field. Global, mining or manufacturing background is highly desirable.
  
• Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills are preferred. Experience with Hyperion and QlikView is a plus
  
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from analysis
  
• Highly organized and capable of working independently
  
• Ability to work well with individuals throughout the organization
  
• Ability to present to and communicate effectively with senior members of the organization
  

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly reporting package including financial operating statements, trend and variance analysis
  
• Maintain the Company's long-term planning model
  
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated budgets and reforecasts
  
• Create ad hoc financial and operational modelling and business analyses
  
• Create presentations for the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Investors
  
• Manage monthly top-down financial forecast
  
• Forecast various P&L, balance sheet and cash flow items
  
• Update and reforecast monthly reflecting actual regional results
  
• Adjust and test assumptions as requested by the Executive Committee
