General Summary of Duties:
The Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide variety of high-level administrative and clerical support to the Food & Beverage Team.
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Administrative support including; scheduling meeting plans, travel arrangements, and planning presentations
- Support the Food & Beverage and Banquets departments
- Composes, prepares and proofreads information needed for business reports and presentations as directed, including all supporting documents, charts, spreadsheets, etc.
- Manages flow of information through the office of the Director of Food & Beverage, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Organize and maintain the departmental filing system
- Tracks financial expenditures, including receipt collection and reimbursement follow ups
- Demonstrates the ability to initiate and perform effective research and follow up on a wide variety administrative and organizational tasks
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
- Two (2) years of successfully performing administrative duties preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and coworkers
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to operate copier, scanner, fax, computer, telephone and other office equipment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite including; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Education:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related major preferred
