Senior Accountant

General Kinematics is the premier manufacturer of vibrating equipment for the processing of bulk materials. From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions customers require to process even the most difficult materials.

We are currently looking for a qualified SeniorAccountant to join our team. The position is responsible for the review and analysis of current processes for potential improvements, responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations, general ledger management, fixed asset management, balance sheet preparations and maintenance. Must be a self- motivated, reliable individual interested in joining our rapidly growing organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolve reconciling items including Inventory, WIP, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payables
• Assist with monitoring month end revenue shipments.
• Maintains and balances Fixed Asset accounts including booking monthly depreciation.
• Preparation and posting of standard and ad-hoc journal entries.
• Ability to help with Foreign entity Accounting as needed.
• Assist with month-end close and related special projects, as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• 5-7 years accounting experience
• Experience working with integrated manufacturing software a strong plus.
• Excellent written communication & organizational skills with ability to think outside the box
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong Excel skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with staff, colleagues and third parties.
