Tax Accountant

Windroot Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountants (CPA) to join our team as a Corporate Tax Specialist.

As a CPA – Corporate Tax Specialist at Windroot Corp. you will play a vital role in our firm’s success by providing expert tax services to our corporate clients. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and advising clients on tax planning strategies. We are looking to grow our team and to make a significant impact on our clients’ financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review corporate tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings.

· Conduct in-depth tax research to stay up to date with changing tax laws and regulations.

· Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies and provide expert tax planning advice.

· Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authorities on behalf of clients.

· Identify opportunities for tax savings and implement tax strategies to optimize client financials.

· Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

· Keep client informed about changes in tax laws that may affect their businesses.

Qualifications:

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. Currently enrolled-we can discuss.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax preparation and planning.

· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
