Senior Accountant

This position is responsible forpreparing and reviewing financial documents, reports, and statements. They also oversee all accounting procedures while advising on general finance matters. Such knowledge can apply across the company as needed, such as in budgeting or cash flow management techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare financial statements for clients
• Knowledge in Balance Sheet and P&L preparations
• Communicating with clients
• Confirming clients' needs
• Making adjusting journal entries after tax preparation.
• Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data using QBO and QBD
• Communicating with clients and resolving unknown transactions
• Organization and archiving of documents

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of related experience in a CPA firm
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to work longer hours during tax season.
• Manage multiple clients at the same time
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
• Experience in technical accounting research
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• QuickBooks proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Experience:

• working in a CPA Firm or public accounting: 4 years (Preferred)
