We are actively searching for a career minded, Senior Accountant who is looking to expand his/her knowledge and experience to add to our Corporate Accounting and Finance team in Atlanta, GA.
This position requires experience with full cycle accounting and is an opportunity for International exposure and being part of growing organization. LG Chem Pays 100% of benefits which start Day 1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide Accounting service to LG Chem and all Subsidiaries in Americas (US, Mexico, Brazil) as well as future business in the US and Latin America.
Monitors and provides administrative support in one or more accounting functions: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Financial Reporting. Reconciles books and assists with the preparation of one or more of the following: fixed asset expenditures, registration and modification, physical fixed asset counting, profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Ensures accuracy and compliance with U.S.
GAAP, IFRS and other accounting regulations. Monthly cash collection and payment forecasting for cash management reporting. Reporting for internal/external for HQ Reports/North America Regional office as well as subsidiaries.
NICE TO HAVE Be responsible for annual business financial planning Budget planning, and monitor and report performance progress. Forecasts and manages and simulate P&L in line with annual target Berry ratio consistent with the annual objectives Functions as key personnel with oversight responsibilities in inventory management in aspects involving inventory turnover days (DIO), excess/slow moving/dead stocks Conducts biannual inventory counting/due diligence and resolves inventory discrepancies Communication, data analysis, reporting on PowerPoint/excel are necessary skills Perform Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES: WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration (Finance, Accounting, Economics) 5-8+years of Accounting/Finance or Business Management related experience Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Skilled in use of PCs and related software. Advanced EXCEL skills required.
