Form of workResponsibilities:
- Engage in the monthly and yearly close processes, aiding in the generation of precise and prompt financial reports;
- Craft recurring monthly journal entries;
- Oversee and update balance sheet reconciliations monthly for accurate financial representation;
- Conduct detailed variance analyses at month's end;
- Uphold robust internal control measures, including annual narratives and analyses of key controls;
- Assist in the meticulous coding of invoices with the AP Specialist;
- Guarantee adherence to GAAP in maintaining financial records;
- Facilitate financial audits and contribute to reporting;
- Foster cooperation with operational teams regarding financial and operational issues;
- Undertake special projects and additional tasks as needed.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline;
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience;
- Proficient interaction capabilities across all organizational tiers;
- Exceptional analytical prowess, precision, and a keen eye for detail;
- Competent in balancing multiple priorities and deadlines with robust problem-solving skills;
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are mandatory;
- CPA certification or progress towards it is favored;
- Prior experience with Big 4 or national firms, SEC registered entities
