Senior Accountant

Summary/Objective

Standpoint is a total construction and restoration partner for commercial and residential properties that has a complementary focus in HOA Management.  Standpoint is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. We are looking for an experienced individual who has a proactive attitude, is looking to develop their professional career and is able to work within a collaborative team.

The candidate will participate in the accounting close and the day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Cash Management functions. Ideal candidate should have experience with Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and have a desire to contribute their knowledge and experience to the analysis and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

·         Liaison between Accounting, Operations and Executive teams

·         Daily cash management

·         Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

·         Responsibility for General Ledger entries and account reconciliations

·         Review General Ledger and Trial Balance for completeness and accuracy

• Maintenance of supporting financial schedules, including, but not limited to areas such as fixed assets, long-term debt, capital leases, and intangibles amortization

·         Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis

·         Maintain customer data in multiple systems and project folders

·         Function as Administrator for multiple software applications and programs:  Intacct, Concur, AMEX, Banking software, etc.

·         Interface with vendors, suppliers, and contractors

·         Respond to internal and external requests for information

Software Experience Requirements

·         Strong knowledge of SAGE Intacct required

·         Strong knowledge of Concur strongly desired

·         Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications, particularly Excel

Competencies

·         Accounting degree preferred; Finance, Economics or similar degree with strong Accounting experience considered

·         Construction and restoration industry and/or HOA Management industry experience a plus

·         Strong communication skills with both internal and external customers

·         Attention to detail with problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

·         Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
