Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides System consolidated financial information, training and support to all affiliates regarding general ledger transactions, processes and financial reporting. This position will be a hybrid onsite position with work from home flexibility.  Work hours are normally Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST except for the 1st-7th during our month-end close process. Will be required to work during the month-end close if it falls on a holiday or weekend, but will have the ability to flex time and some schedule flexibility the remainder of the month.

Essential Accountabilities: 

• Accurate, timely preparation and coordination of monthly consolidated financial statements and other financial information. 
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger system for Mission Health System and assists with coordination for other Lawson system users.
• Provides ongoing oversight of System general ledger functions. 
• Assists System affiliates with financial reporting requirements related to the consolidation of financial information. 
• Instills trust in System financial data and information. 
• Completes other duties to support departmental operations as assigned or requested.  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting 
• Preferred Education: Master’s Degree- MAC, MBA, or MHA and/or CPA licensure 
• Preferred License: CPA 
• Required Experience: 5 years financial analysis, financial statement preparation, or external audit coordination experience in healthcare environment 
• Preferred Experience: 7 years financial analysis, financial statement preparation, or external audit coordination in healthcare environment, managerial experience and strong sense of career path preferred.
