RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support day-to-day activities of the Finance Department including general ledger reconciliation and payroll review.
- Financial liaison to the Manager of the Research Department tracking income and expenses.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget..
- Collate, track and reconcile CME funds for providers and staff
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger.
- Reconciliation of physician dashboards, such as TVU tracking and expenses.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts to include cash accounts.
- Assist with month end close.
- Back up support to the Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Collate, track and file the unclaimed property reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Sage / ACCPAC experience, desirable
- Must be organized, flexible and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced accounting environmen
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Maintain a high level of confidentially, when handling secure, privileged, and sensitive information
- Demonstrate accurate, clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with limited supervision
