Form of work Job Title: Senior Accountant (Temp to Hire)
Work Schedule:On-site 3 days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays); Remote on Mondays and Fridays
Job Description:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring contract administration accuracy and compliance, supporting management with reporting on practice operations, and overseeing financial statements critical for enterprise leadership decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to lead and mentor a team of accountants while driving process improvements and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and review work completed by the staff accounting team.
- Review monthly journal entries and account analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Provide month-over-month market variance explanations.
- Interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review and approve requests for provider payments.
- Mentor and lead a team of accountants.
- Provide technical trainings for team members.
- Maintain professionalism to meet department-established deadlines.
- Cultivate relationships with peer teams, field teams, and hospital teams.
- Identify areas for continued process improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business-related fields.
