Job Description
Perrotin New York is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to assist the Financial Director of the gallery with day-to-day accounting, works closely with the CFO, and HR. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist Accountant and other financial professionals with creating and editing financial documents report financial presentations (Excel, Pivot table)
-Accounts payable
-Accounts receivable
-Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses.
-Reconcile financial books, exhibition and production costs including incoming and outgoing funds.
-Reconcile QB with our Software.
-Assist the Financial Director
-Manage Corporate Card Accounts
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
-Proficient in QuickBooks, CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel
-Ability to prioritize, work independently, and self-direct.
-Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
-Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong Analytical skills
-Organize the bookkeeping processes of the gallery.
-Ability to work independently as well as with an international team.
-Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
This is a full-time position with benefits. The standard work schedule is from Monday - Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
