The MBS Senior Account VP & Business Services Manager is primarily responsible for building and leading sales and sales support teams through a culture of service to our membership and community. This includes the servicing of existing business members as well as growing membership throughout all of the credit union's business product offerings. The position will also contribute to adherence and recommending changes to policies, procedures and regulations concerning member business accounts. Assist VP of MBS in development and improvement of member business offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Portfolio Management and Growth
- Oversee and service member business loans. This includes monitoring and management of:
- New Production
- Fee Income
- Annual Review Progression
- Clearing of Loan/Document/Financial Exceptions
- Watch List updates
- Past Dues
- Monitoring maturing loan report and ensuring renewals are processed timely
- Manage the sale of Treasury Management Products and Services.
- New Product Sales
- Fee Income
- Annual Review Progression
- Grow Commercial Deposit portfolio.
- Regularly join the Account VPs in meetings with larger business members to deepen relationships, monitor business health, and discover additional opportunities.
- Monitor management reports on Commercial Lender and Treasury Management Rep production and portfolio management.
- Oversee and service member business loans. This includes monitoring and management of:
- Individual and Team Development
- Personal and team growth and development
- Build department morale and team effectiveness by hiring, supervising, training and professionally developing staff
- Ensures staff has necessary resources and skills to support work initiatives
- Credit Underwriting
- Reviews Account VPs' initial preliminary analysis prior to loan proposals being issued to insure credit quality standards are being met.
- Review loan proposals to ensure terms are acceptable, accurate and in accordance with Policy and Procedures.
- Strategic Leadership of Member Business Loan and Deposit Programs
- Serve on strategic teams/committees within the Credit Union as it relates enhancing and evolving our product line and services to our Business Membership.
- Serves on Rate Committee as a Member
- Serve on Member Business Loan Committee as a Member
- Assist VP of MBS in ensuring competitive pricing of loan and deposit rates and fees
- Train and educates staff to serve business members
- Compliance/Internal Systems
- Ensures compliance with MBL regulation 723
- Comply with SBA Regulations
- Maintain and follow internal member business loan policies and procedures
- Strategic Planning
- Participate in the MBS department short-term and long-term strategic planning
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management and/or other related fields
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of commercial banking experience with concentration of experience as a commercial relationship manager.
- Strong Credit Underwriting skills are required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Competent computer skills
- Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
- Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership
