Senior Account Executive

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner.Qualifications:

Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:

• Supporting the servicing of housing programs, such as federal housing mortgage insurance programs, federal housing assistance programs, or state or local affordable housing programs; AND
• Working on programs for assisted or conventional multifamily housing; AND
• Interpreting and applying the statutes, regulations, and procedures governing multifamily housing; AND
• Developing and implementing solutions to facilitate maintaining the stock of affordable housing.

Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.Education: This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
