Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience working with students who may require additional support or early intervention services
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Skills:
- Childcare: Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children
- Math: Proficiency in teaching basic math concepts appropriate for preschoolers
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining an organized and structured learning environment
- Experience working with students: Ability to understand and meet the unique needs of individual students

- Preschool: Knowledge of age-appropriate curriculum and teaching methods for preschool-aged children
- Early intervention: Familiarity with early intervention strategies for addressing developmental delays or challenges
- Daycare: Understanding of the daily operations and routines of a preschool daycare setting
- Behavior management: Ability to implement positive behavior management techniques in the classroom
- Special education: Knowledge of special education principles and practices for supporting students with diverse needs
