Guardian Life Insurance of America is seeking a Security System Analyst possessing experience with Multi-factor Authentication in an Enterprise environment. Guardian is looking to implement Adaptive and Enterprise MFA solution across various Line of Business (LOBs) to be compliant with corporate security policies and to better control user's access to corporate data and systems.
Reporting to Lead IAM Architect, this role will be responsible for analyzing IT and business requirements, review of existing MFA product and systems integrations, evaluating new MFA vendor products for an enterprise. This position is a key role within the IAM department, ensuring that Guardian has an expert individual focused on analyzing and implementing the right MFA platform across the enterprise and meeting the assigned deliverables on time
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with business stakeholders and core project team to gather requirements
Translate IT/business issues/opportunities into technical solutions/requirements
Assess Guardian's current authentication platforms, systems integrations with existing MFA solution and identify pain points and opportunities to improve
Document detailed use cases meeting all current and future IT/Business needs for product evaluation
Participate and lead an effort of evaluating leading MFA Vendor products and select a best suitable product for the enterprise
Provide logical and physical architectures to represent how this enterprise system will work meeting Guardian needs
Lead an effort of working closely with vendor to design, implement and deploy MFA for Guardian systems in phases
Document necessary run books, training materials for Day 2 operations and support model
Possess strong communication, documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and tailor content to audience as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's in Information Technology or other technical discipline; Master's degree desirable.
Minimum of 7 years experience in the successful design, planning and implementation of an overall MFA solution across the enterprise
Expertise in writing use case documents and evaluating vendor products conforming to use cases
Strong understanding of various authentication platforms such as LDAP, AD, RACF, WebSeal, F5
Working experience in writing technical documents and developing architecture layouts
Experience with working with Entrust, RSA, CA, Ping, IBM MFA platforms will be a plus
Sound knowledge of Single Sign On (SSO) and SAML
Strong Understanding of Security APIs and Services (SOAP/REST/XML) will be a plus
Strong Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and tools
Understanding of Compliance policies, Security Standards and concepts
Strong understanding of Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery concepts and replication technologies
Strong understanding of cloud solutions and On-Prem solutions
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Ability to handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
