Position Summary:Are you passionate about designing things? Do you want to help create a marketing plan for Cybersecurity? Come join OIT Security and help us help you! Duties:
100 Design and develop print-ready and electronic communications for OIT Information Security and Assurance. Develop video and narrated audio presentations. Create content for web pages and web sites. Work with other student employees on web design and formatting. Other opportunities include participating in student and faculty/staff-focused events to support marketing and communication of cybersecurity concepts. Engaging with various governance and stakeholder groups to improve communication and awareness of cybersecurity concepts, challenges, policies, and procedures. Follow UA branding policies and procedures to create visually engaging marketing materials for stakeholders. Coordinate with vendors and OIT staff to develop cost estimates for marketing-related materials. Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to use industry-standard software to create logos, design reports, illustrations, and complete other projects. Prepare drafts of designs, present ideas, and make changes as necessary. Ability to proactively develop yourself and your career through professional learning and career networking within the department.
Typical Experience:
Understanding of basic marketing concepts, website design standards, and branding best practices. Proficiency with graphics editors, such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Training Required:
Currently enrolled in a web design, communications, or comparable degree program.
Salary Information:
These are part time, 12-month positions.OIT offers a starting student salary of $15.26/hr
