Position Summary:
Do you want to join an exciting, positive, and collaborative team? As part of the CBSM marketing team, Student Marketing Assistants focus on social media, event planning, communication tools and promotional channels for the College. You’ll gain applicable life skills helping to promote a national innovation competition, a premier leadership event for over 300 attendees, while learning social media, graphic design, photo and video techniques.Team members work independently and in a team with supervision. Students may work some hours at the CBSM office, and some hours remotely. Ideally, candidates who wish to work remotely should have fast internet and a laptop. All UAF and CDC COVID-19 safety measures must be adhered to.
This is a pooled position, remaining open for applications during the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.

Must be a student at UAF.
This is a part-time position for UA students only. It is a Student 2 position, starting at step 15 earning $14.96/hour.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year. The department will hire throughout the year as needed.
Student Employment Requirements:
Must be a UA student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours throughout the duration of employment.
Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, unless a first-time freshman.
