Security Operations Center Operator

Securitas is immediately hiring TWO Security Operation Center Operator for one of our technology sites.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of the SOC Manager, the job of the SOC Operator is to safeguard the personnel and property of the client from safety and security hazards. Additionally, the SOC Operator will enforce the clients safety and security policies. The SOC Agent must be professional, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, and high stress environment. SOC Agent must be proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Intermediate skill level with computers, access control systems, and various applications. SOC Agents are expected to monitor multiple systems including but not limited to, alarm monitoring interface, network video surveillance systems and multiple communication mediums, including IP Telephony, instant messaging (including SMS), email administration, Voice over IP (Radio).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPR/First Aid/AED - Can be accomplished upon hire
• Extensive familiarity with Microsoft Office and other various online applications
• Prior Control Room experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
• Must demonstrate clear and effective communications skills

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Typing - 40 WPM, minimum
• Advanced knowledge of emergency communications
• Excellent customer service and verbal de-escalation skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high stress environment
• Professional/polite demeanor capable of interacting with a diverse range of clientele
