The Opportunity:
The Muhammad Ali Center (MAC) values the critical role that frontline staff play in creating an onsite experience that is accessible and inclusive for all. To support this, we are seeking an energetic, guest-service-oriented person. This person will provide an excellent service to the security operation and overall guest experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
● This role will have no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner and provides customer service at a high level which meets current hospitality industry standards (i.e., greeting visitors, providing information pertaining to our facility and direction to other locations in proximity to our facility, ensuring our visitors have a memorable experience)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as multi-task when needed
- Understands back of house procedures (i.e., vendor arrivals/departures, deliveries, etc.)
- Ensures the safety and protection of all visitors, staff, collection items, and property of the facility at all times
- Monitor and authorize the entrance of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against any type of theft
- Patrol the premises of the facility to prevent and/or detect signs of intrusion as well as ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates on the property
- Investigate and address any type of disturbance within the property of the center
- Understand the functionality of an industry standard security camera monitoring CCTV system and access system
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Web – based software. (i.e., incident reports, activity reports, inhouse email systems)

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of customer service experience.
- Minimum of one year security work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based software systems

- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Skillful with organizational, written, and verbal communication

- Interested applicants must be available to work weekends; evenings (for special events), and some holidays, as needed.
Compensation:
· The Muhammad Ali Center is prepared to offer a competitive nonprofit salary starting at $17.00 per hour. In addition, the Center offers a flexible work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package
