The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
This position provides for the safeguarding of company assets through cross-functional collaboration by implementing strategies, systems, training programs, and processes that mitigate risk, prevent losses, and ensure facility security. This role encompasses aspects of physical security, workplace violence, and investigation strategies across all company facilities.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate and provide counsel to all employees and stakeholders in developing, facilitating, and assessing security strategies to protect company assets, employees, and brands
- Works with group and site leadership to ensure the Company’s physical security program is implemented, maintained, and enhanced
- Conduct Security Site Evaluations examining sites’ physical security in-place, processes, and potential needs, reporting your findings with site leaders
- Prepare and submit reports related to investigations, audits, and security activities
- Design and implement facility physical security plans to include security detection systems, access control, CCTV, alarms, lighting systems, and perimeter security
- Conducts training, onsite and virtually, to all employees regarding personal and physical security related to workplace violence, de-escalation techniques and regional security issues and trends
- Primary point of contact and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies at all facility locations
- Representative for the Threat Assessment Team
- Conduct investigations, coordinating with Reyes Holdings Ethics and Compliance as well as Human Resources
- Work with law enforcement as necessary
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree 6+ years of experience in law enforcement, government, corporate security, or another investigative field or High School diploma with 9 plus years’ experience in law enforcement, government, corporate security, or another investigative field
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills dealing with all levels of employees, customers, and management
- Ability to facilitate training for all levels of employees, supervision and management
- Self-starter with ability to follow-up and follow through and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to multitask in case of shifting priorities and follow through to completion
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Travel- up to 40%
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Ability to work various shifts on weekdays, and some weekends as required supporting investigative work, employee interviews, and crisis/incident response
- Demonstrated history of developing, leading, and successful mitigating various risk management, investigations, safety/security prevention strategies, etc.
- Strong knowledge of criminal law and how it pertains to the private sector related to incident management and responses
- Strong knowledge in investigative case work, evidentiary processes, and physical security processes and procedures
- Experience conducting Workplace Violence- Active Shooter, De- Escalation training in the private or public sectors
