Security Guard

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, following proper protocols
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, including incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Utilize conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or law enforcement is preferred
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
