Jamison Perry has partnered with a company to find a Security Assistant. The Security Assistant will provide access control and other safety security services. This role is located in Henderson. The shift is Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

- Open and close the building when required, including locking/unlocking perimeter doors and arming/disarming burglar alarm systems.
- Conduct Security patrols and Safety inspections throughout the property.
- Liaise and coordinate with the local Grass Roots Safety Team for Safety-related matters.
- Meet and greet all entering personnel.
- Through ID verification, monitor and verify all staff and visitor access into and out of properties.
- Register visitors in the appropriate system.
- Maintain continuous effective communication with all departments and employees to coordinate visitors.
- Manage and route incoming and outgoing US Mail, courier deliveries, etc.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls.
- Assist with video surveillance and Safety and Security reporting and investigations.
- Identify and communicate all access violations, theft, or other policy violations to the Manager of Risk Management.
- Check security cameras for proper operation daily.
- Report discrepancies to the Manager of Risk Management.
- Provide guidance and assistance in emergencies.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, co-workers, supervisors, and customers (verbal and written).
- Must have a pleasant personality to greet the public in person and on the phone.
- Must possess social perceptiveness to assess and understand others' reactions and behaviors.
- Must be computer literate with a strong emphasis on Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree or higher.
- Required: Reliable transportation to work a flexible schedule.
- Preferred: Two years' work experience in Safety and/or Security-related fields.
- Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
