TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Securement Equipment Coordinator working out of our shop in West Columbia on Charleston Highway.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Securement Equipment Coordinator is to maintain all load Securement Equipment and make sure that it is in good working condition and ready to go at all times.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Account and track all Load Securement items such as: tarps, straps, chains, bingers, etc.
• Pre-stock all truck and trailers that are available for the new releases
• Keep the shop area clean and up to TMC standards at all items
• Patch and repair tarps
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma preferred
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be quality driven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
