Secretary/Accounts Payable

Stroudsburg Area School District is looking for a dedicated and professional individual to join our accounts payable team. This full-time, 35 hour a week position will be working within the business office performing the accounts payable function.

Responsibilites inlclude but are not limited to:

• Verify invoices for completeness
• Obtain approvals from appropriate departments
• Ability to handle a high volume of invoices timely/accurately
• Voucher invoices against purchase orders
• Code expense invoices to various GL accounts
• Manage vendor relationships
• Respond to internal inquires
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Assist with the annual external audit process

Essential Knowledge and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills to work well with internal and external customers
• Excellent written and communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently. as well as, part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
