Financial Responsibilities including but not limited to
1. Monitoring petty cash
2. Completing purchase orders for staff and office needs
3. Filing substitute and staff time sheets
4. Collecting various fees
5. Scheduling room use for evening activities

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Building Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Previous School Office Experience Preferred
- Working knowledge of office procedures, equipment, and record keeping.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers and various word processing, database and spreadsheet programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Integrity, flexibility, and ability to maintain employee and student confidentiality.
- Maintaining student records as required; keeping all student/staff concerns confidential
- Monitoring locked doors and greeting visitors
- Answering and routing incoming telephone calls
- Typing forms, photocopying materials, memos, newsletters, etc.
- Completing all school mailings
- Requesting records of new students and sending records with transferring students
- Assisting with report cards and progress reports
- Maintaining an organized office space
- Assisting in preparing instructional materials
- Mail distribution
- Ordering, storage and/or distribution of office supplies
- Registration of new and returning students
- Assist in scheduling substitutes for classrooms
- General assistance to all members of the community including students, staff, parents, and community members including assuming needed responsibilities of the school clerical staff and school nurse at times they are not available
- Follows the District Code of Ethics.
- Adheres to the published policies and procedures of the District as published on the District website.
- Performs other duties as required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Occasional sitting, standing, walking, talking, bending, lifting, and stooping required.
- Occasional travel to various school locations required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in an environment where unusual temperature, noise, and hazards are relatively nonexistent.
- Occasional need for work to be performed outside of the normal work day.
- Days per year TBD (2023-2024 school year, 204 days)
- Hours per day TBD
- Twelve sick days per year
- Four personal days per year
- Vacation days as stated in Policy 5:330
- At-will position
- FLSA Non-Exempt
- Salary based on experience and market as determined by Board of Education.
- Two evaluations will be conducted during the first year of employment (45 and 90 days)
- After the probationary period, evaluations will be completed in accordance with administrative procedure.
