- Must always maintain confidentiality.
- Utilizes PC to print and generate various court and parole-related documents (booking sheets, court-ordered assessments, sentencing letters, work release letters, County Parole Applications, State Parole Summaries, etc.)
- Provides data entry for department by entering information and editing documents (Excel, OMSe, Kronos).
- Responsible for retrieval of information from various platforms and generation of reports.
- Provide assistance in maintaining, organizing, retrieving, entering, and submitting data on grants and provides reports on such.
- Verifies and manages payroll for contracted employees and inmates.
- Coordinates and schedules special visits as appropriate (MHU, RHU, etc.)
- Sorts and collates inmate request forms.
- Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with all staff, inmates and public.
- Provides direct administrative support to Program Specialists, Case Managers, Captain of Security, Administrative Lieutenant, Hearing Officer and Supervisors.
- Schedules appointments and meetings.
- Assists in the compilation and composure of letters, reports, security bulletins, etc. as directed.
- Screens and refers phone calls.
- Maintains various files.
- Ability to work without direction.
- Ability to work effectively with the public and other agencies.
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in the use of a computer. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and a minimum keyboard skill of 45 wpm.
- Three years’ secretarial/administrative assistant experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity, punctuality, and professionalism.
