ScreenPlay is Hiring a Seasoned VIDEO EDITOR/PRODUCER
A Problem Solver Who Excels in the Use of Motion Media
Seeking an accomplished Video EDITOR-PRODUCER to help develop all forms of electronic (video, interactive), and web-delivered media. Position is local (not remote or hybrid). Candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, organized, driven/assertive and above all, problem solving.
- Primary responsibilities -- highly-proficient VIDEO EDITOR, versed in long-form storytelling
- 5+ years working as an Editor-Producer of Corporate-Educational videos (for Business or Production Companies)
- 5+ years expert in working with Adobe Premier
- 3+ years proficient with After Effects (and other animation, 3D modeling software)
- Mastery of Microsoft Office programs (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong business writing and communication skills – through internal company communications and exchanges with clients.
Basic familiarity with interactive programming and internet design, especially User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) a plus.
Job requirements:
- Manage projects from start to finish with nothing falling through the cracks
- Analyze projects and requests to understand how to communicate story
- Develop and produce excellent work for demanding clients
- Be attentive to details and proactive in identifying project needs
- Curiosity for learning difficult, technical subject matter in order to properly present client content
