Job Description
We are Push Pin Travel Maps, a small business, located in Sheridan. With the holiday season fast approaching we are seeking a seasonal employee to work in our shipping department. Our company sells products online and the candidate would be responsible for fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders. Pay is $17.50 per hour.
Our ideal candidate would work 6-8 hours a day for a total of 30-40 hours per week. The ideal schedule would be from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, but the start time/shift may be flexible.
Job will start in October and end at the end of December.
Duties include:
- Using a computer to print out packing lists and shipping labels using a shipping software program (ShipStation)
- Fulfilling and packaging orders and ensuring correct products go to the right customer
- Creating personalized plaques that will be used in order fulfillment.
- Working in the warehouse and maintaining a clean working environment.
- Working in a team environment to ensure company goals are reached.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities when assigned.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Work in a manufacturing environment. Work involves occasional lifting up to 15-30 pounds, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, moderate walking, standing, lifting, and carrying. Most of your shift will require you to be on your feet and active.
Job Qualifications:
Shipping experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Multi-tasking skills are a requirement. Candidate must be detail orientated and able to work independently as well as with a team. Ability to read, write, and speak English is a must. Good attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability are also a must. Proficient computer experience required. Training will be provided for job-related duties.
