Position Title:Packaging Associate
Location: 505 West 40th Avenue, Denver, CO 80216
Position Set Schedule: Monday through Friday from 12:00pm-8:30pm.
Supervisor: Production Lab Manager
Job Summary: The Packaging Associate will be responsible for processing portioning distillate into vape cartridges or syringes and infused products into individual size denominations to include joint prep. This position is also responsible for labeling, prepping and packaging finished orders for transfer to retail stores while maintaining department supplies and standards of cleanliness. This position must be prepared to help other teammates as necessary. This position involves multiple parts of a dynamic process.

Essential/Primary Responsibilities:
- Regular communication with the Production Lab Manager is to be maintained to ensure all operational needs are met and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved proactively
- The Packager is responsible for consistent, sanitary and safe production and packaging of infused cannabis products utilizing company policies to successfully uphold quality and consistency of all products produced to including portioning.
- Joint prep and packaging
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities::
- Previous experience working within a MIP operation is preferred
- Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
- Previous experience working within a cGMP facility is preferred
- ServSafe certified
- Colorado MED Badge
- COVID-19 Vaccination encouraged but not required
- Must be familiar with current Colorado regulations and have an understanding of the regulatory requirements for MIP operations within Colorado
- Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate products
- Works efficiently, manages time effectively
- Pays close attention to detail
- Able to identify problems or malfunctions with equipment
- Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently
- Familiarity with all lab safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, Fire and HazMat) preferred
- Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in the production of Joints
- Maintains the cleanliness of equipment and work-stations including shared areas (kitchens, bathrooms, facilities, etc.)
- Monitors inventory and alerts management when supply levels are low
- Alerts the Production Lab Manager if there are any compliance concerns
- Assists in inventory, counts and audits
- Maintains compliance in all processes and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement
- Supports and adheres to cGMP facility certification
- Performs all stages of processing syringes and cartridges
- Applies labels to all products
- Conducts portioning of products per position SOPs
- Gathers inventory
- Plan and lay out work to meet packaging and fulfillment schedule
- Work as a part of a team to meet production schedule
- Follows the company’s SOPs
- Perform other official duties as assigned
- Must be able to work position's set schedule.
Work Environment:
- Standard 40-hour work week. Must be able to work training and position's set schedule.
- Working hours will be spent in the lab
- Moderate physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis (able to lift at least 20 pounds, able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend, push, pull and reach)
- Safety gear and PPEs required as outlined in SOPs for each task
