Product Quality Assurance Manager

The Opportunity:
Earth Breeze is looking for a Product Quality Assurance Manager to help as the frontline in delivering high quality products. This is for you if you are excited about being responsible to make sure that every shipment continues to delight our consumers by offering them high quality products to meet their cleaning needs day in and day out.
Responsibilities:
As Product Quality Assurance Manager at Earth Breeze, you will...

• Collect, perform testing, and analyze data for all incoming products (batch production record reviews, master case marking, finished product packaging and formula analytical testing, etc) for compliance against Earth Breeze internal standards
• Create new procedures to inspect and report quality trends to Operations and R&D on a monthly scorecard. Facilitate proactive solutions by analyzing quality data.
• Provide support towards consumer complaint reduction and improvements
• Manage root cause investigations internally for supplier non-conformances and customer complaints in partnership with manufacturing, operations, supply planning, and R&D. Use root cause analysis tools such as fishbone, why-why analysis, 8D, etc.
• Partner with R&D when outside lab testing is required
• Develop deep understanding of raw material specifications, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics to proactively prevent out-of-specification products. Implement changes by partnering with operations/manufacturing
• Travel to EB manufacturing sites for site QA audits/partner roll-out Quality Assurance programs
• Manages CAPA generation and completion process for external partners
• Manage document control of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
• Supervise, train, and maintain training records on quality technicians on finished product sampling, lab procedures, and equipment
• Maintain lab, lab equipment, and coordinate sample retention
• Work cross-functionally with Operations and R&D on new product launches
• Develop Quality Assurance SOP's. Update as needed

About You:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or relevant role
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of Quality Assurance and standards (Control charts, histograms, pareto charts, CAPA, etc)
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and databases
• Outstanding communication skills
• Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• BSc/BA in chemistry, biology, business, or relevant field or Associates degree with 5 years experience.
• Certification of quality control is desirable (ISO 9000) or (ASQ Certified Manager or Quality/Organizational Excellence)
• Forklift certification is a plus
