Seasonal Public Works Technicians- Solid Waste

The Public Works Department is seeking seasonal laborers to assist in the Solid Waste Division. Solid Waste duties support residential curbside yard waste collection and include collecting and disposing of grass/leaves and brush items; safely operating equipment and using a variety of tools and machines such as leaf rakes, pitch forks and shovels; the suction hose attached to the leaf machine, and ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.

The position will work daytime hours, typically Monday - Friday 6:30am-3pm with the infrequent need for night and weekend work; beginning mid-October 2023 through March 2024. The hourly rate is $20. This is an immediate opening and the position(s) is open until filled.
