Form of workThree Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal Community Supported Agriculture Assistant positions at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, MN. This position is responsible for assisting the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Coordinator with the Gale Woods Farm CSA. This gardening program grows food for community members who purchase shares, to the local food shelf and provides work and learning opportunities for middle age school youth farmers.
STARTING WAGE: $19.00/hourA natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. It takes a dedicated team of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to provide the high-quality opportunities and facilities that Three Rivers provides. All seasonal employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass, providing access to discounted or complimentary Park District programs and services.High School Diploma or GED plus at least one year of experience or related training required. At least one year experience working with youth in a leadership capacity. Experience with Community Supported Agriculture gardens and in agriculture education preferred, but not required.
