Summary of position

This position oversees the Seasonal Color Department of a high-end residential landscape design/build company. It involves planning, ordering, and installation of annual flowers and blubs and seasonal holiday decorations. Looking for creative hands-on manager that enjoys client interaction in a positive, small team environment. 

Expectations/Essential Daily Duties

Supervise and manage installation crew in seasonally fast paced environment.

Proactively communicate with clients, crew members and department managers, fostering a culture where both the clients and team members are valued and appreciated.

Estimate and sell department services/products.

Forecast and order required supplies and plant materials.

Schedule and coordinate installations and crew.

Ongoing seasonal maintenance of installations or direction thereof.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages and supervises a small installation crew.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office and field environment. This role also includes routine use of hand tools and equipment (trucks, vans and lifts).

Position Type and Expected Hours of work

This is a salaried full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Salary

Competitive pay range of $60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience.
