Seasonal Cdl Class A Drivers

Site Supply, Inc. is a unionized, private material-transporting trucking company in Romulus, Michigan servicing the Southeast Michigan area. We transport material such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, asphalt, etc. to and from job sites. We’re looking for full-time or part-time experienced truck drivers for our seasonal asphalt paving and site development work. Drivers are responsible for transporting material such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, asphalt, etc. to and from the job sites in Southeast Michigan. Must possess excellent customer service skills, keep truck clean, and abide by all state, local, and federal laws. This is a seasonal position that runs approximately April through December.

Pay is Teamster wages and depends on experience level. Starting from $26-27/hr.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid class A CDL with airbrakes
• Preferred 1 year sand and gravel hauling experience
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Must have experience with manual transmission.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for complete safety checks, including truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines.
• Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secured and apron in appropriate position.
• Load and unload material at appropriate site.
• Responsible for clean truck, including cab and truck bed.
• Maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers and community.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
