Job Description
The Department of Revenue is seeking seasonal workers to work in the Compliance Division, Central Collections Unit Call Center.
Following all policies and procedures, the successful candidate will:

• Answer incoming calls from taxpayers with questions regarding how to make a payment, asking for their balance due, etc.
• Work in a fast-paced Call Center environment
• Provide thorough customer service by answering questions
• Handle confidential information, utilize attention to detail, review work for accuracy and error
• Be able to work remotely. Requirements include that you provide internet service. Equipment and training will be provided.

Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm; full time 40 hours per week.
The rate of pay is $16.50 an hour and is considered a seasonal assignment.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a criminal background check, FBI fingerprinting, and be in compliance with Iowa tax filing requirements and willing to participate in the E-verify process.
This is a temporary, non-merit position with the Iowa Department of Revenue.Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.
