Production Seamstress Sample Sewer Seamstress- Casual & Cocktail Dress

Currently seeking experienced production/manufacturing sewers to sew casual and cocktail dresses .

Responsibility:

-Construct 5 dresses weekly in various USA standard sizes from small, medium, large, & XL based on company size chart standard using sewing machine and couture construction.

-Sew casual and cocktail dresses according to couture standards
- Production schedule is 5 dresses or more a week

-Strong ability to replicate by viewing original garment and reproduce garment without a pattern.

- Inspect finished product and do finishing touches including ironing, tagging, etc.

- works with Designer on garment construction, corrections, and improvements.

Skills Required:

- Ability to view original dress and reproduce different sizes from small, medium, large, & XL

- Understands all aspects of replicating dresses by sight of original dress

-Proficient in garment construction, cutting, and sewing machine operation

-Knowledge of fabric and trim. Is comfortable sewing difficult fabrics (charmeuse, chiffon, gazar, lace, organza, satin etc)

-Ability to meet deadline once you receive all material

-Communicate updates of progress toward deadline daily with pictures demonstrating finished daily work

-Excellent ability to provide consistent quality and quantity production by deadline

-Must have experience working in production.

-Strong attention to detail
