Description
IBSS is seeking a Sea Turtle Conservation and Recovery Specialist to provide assistance to the NMFS National Sea Turtle Coordinator and the National Stranding and Salvage Network to identify priority projects and needs within the Northern Gulf of Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Assist OPR with developing and implementing key Sea Turtle Conservation and Recovery activities and programs.
- Compile, review, and summarize Sea Turtle information from multiple sources to inform conservation management of Sea Turtles under the ESA.
- Review and provide technical comments on Sea Turtle Conservation management related documents.
- Provide expert advice to OPR on Sea Turtle Conservation and management issues.
Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:
- BS in Marine Science or related field
