PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
We are seeking a strong SDET with the development team to assess project needs and ensure coverage across functional, integration, performance, security and automated testing, in line with existing processes
- Work Closely with the development team to assess project needs and ensure coverage across functional, integration, performance, security and automated testing, in line with existing processes
- Support, and assist software development engineers as needed in the development and maintenance of software applications
- Design, develop and implement automated test scripts, ensuring adherence to defined coding standards, and automation designs
- Responsible for defining, implementing, and tracking return on investment analysis for test efforts across different types of testing (Automation, performance etc.)
- Manages the test automation activities throughout the software development and test phases across multiple project and product deliverables
- Analyze business requirements then design and code test framework ensuring that quality standards and practices are being followed
- Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and environment technical teams to ensure environment builds support flexible and scalable automation test capabilities.
- Build and manages the deployment pipelines automation and release activities in Azure DevOps
- Understand and follow the agile software development life cycle methodology
- Use of Azure DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools on a daily basis

- 5+ years of IT or technical related experience required
- 7+ years of Test automation design and implementation experience with programming languages and script development, as well as experience designing, developing, and implementing test automation strategies, approaches and frameworks
- 5+ years of .NET or related experience required
- Expert knowledge of test management processes and technical skills, including understanding of manual and automated test execution, performance & security testing
- Knowledge of testing best practices on automation approaches for custom developed and consumer off-the-shelf packaged applications
- Extensive experience of UI automation framework like Selenium
- Extensive experience of performance testing tools and framework
- Working knowledge of programming languages and database design- C#, ASP.NET, HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, SQL
- Understanding of application and system architecture concepts including service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- A general technical background, understanding of mainframe, AS400 and other systems
- Understanding of multiple Cloud platform computing services including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Analytical ability to synthesis data and reporting on metrics
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications
- Ability to take a business user story, and translate it into design specs, automation tasks, and provide accurate, reasonable estimates for completion
- Experience with Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365, Experlogix CPQ, AX, NAV, Salesforce is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS, Engineering, Business Administration or related field required

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. This is the base range within the U.S.
