Job Description
The Psychologistworks closely with patients in various settings and participates as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, administers a wide variety of psychological assessment techniques, interprets results, and prepares comprehensive reports.
ATC Healthcare is currently looking for a School Psychologist for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position and the rate of pay ranges from $50.00-$60.00/hr.

Reporting:
Reports to the franchise owner/manager or designee and to client supervisors and managers.
Education:
Master's degree in psychology.
Licensure:
Psychologist License in good standing and currently active.
Experience:
At least one year of experience as a Master Level Psychologist.
Credentials:
1. Background screening as required by contract.
2. OIG, SAM, OFAC and NSO screening.
3. Current health provider CPR from the American Heart Association at the BLS level.
4. Hepatitis B Statement or Declination [OSHA 29 CFR, 1910.1030(f)(2)].
5. Tuberculosis screening, including a baseline test at hire. A temporary staff employee may not commence employment until the second TB test results are confirmed negative. A temporary staff employee with a previous positive TB test result must provide current documentation of a negative chest x-ray and a TB Questionnaire. The Quantiferon Gold test may be used in lieu of the TB skin test.
6. Drug screening per client contract requirements.
Environmental Working Conditions:
1. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
2. The physical demands are representative of those that may be required by an employee to successfully perform the representative duties and responsibilities of the job. Applicant should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
2. Complies with facility policies and procedures.
3. Knowledge of emotional, social, psychological and environmental problems and techniques used for treatment.
4. Knowledge of techniques for observing and assessing behavior:
• Psychotherapy techniques
• Principles and practices of applied behavior analysis
• Counseling techniques
• Abnormal psychology
• Principles and practices of clinical psychology
• Principles of group behavior and interaction
• Experimental/research techniques
• Conduct evaluation and therapeutic interview techniques
• Types and use of standardized psychological tests including those applicable in testing the physically, socially or emotionally handicapped
• Statistical techniques used in testing and research
5. Ability to effectively interact/establish a rapport with patients and to develop therapeutic relationship.
• Use intervention methods to bring about positive behavioral changes in patients
• Facilitate positive group interaction and mutual support
• Prepare clear and concise case studies
• Administer and score tests, conduct surveys and interviews and experimental procedures
6. Maintains records and prepares reports and other communications.
7. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and utilize an electronic record.
8. Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
9. Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
