School Paraprofessional - Hackettstown, NJ

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational and healthcare staffing solutions, is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our team in Hackettstown, NJ. This is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to support students in their academic and developmental journey within the local school district.

Position Overview: As a School Paraprofessional with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers and supporting the diverse needs of students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while working collaboratively with a dynamic educational team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students based on their individual needs.
• Support students with special needs by implementing accommodations and modifications.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to address the diverse needs of students.
• Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting students.
