Blazer Jobs is actively seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists for a full-time position within school districts in the Reserve, LA area. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Validstate licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist with Blazer Jobs, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate students' fine and gross motor skills
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Designing and recommending adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Monitoring and documenting student progress regularly
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintaining accurate records
