School Year + ESY Opportunity
Core Tasks of the School Nurse
Responds to and assists children in a K-12 school setting that are injured or suffer from an illness. Communicates with parents, school staff and supporting healthcare professionals. Also works in the position of one-on-one paraprofessional throughout the school day with student.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental delays
- RN or CSN or LPN (required)

- Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
- Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
- State License of Practice and/or Certification
- CPR/First Aid
- TB/Physical
