School Nurse / Rn - Pittsburgh, Pa

Flag Star is seeking a Registered Nurse for a long-term contract position in a local Pittsburgh School!

Shift: Sunday through Thursday 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am

Hourly Pay Rate: $50

RN/ Registered Nurse Requirements:

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania

· CPR certification (BLS or ALS accepted)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong assessment skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

· Knowledge of state and federal health regulations in an educational setting

Flag Star RNs are expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students, including but not limited to assessment, first aid, medication administration, and emergency care as needed.

• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and district policy.

• Communicate with school administrators, teachers, counselors, and parents to address the healthcare needs of students and facilitate a healthy learning environment.

• Administer medications to students following physician orders and school policies.
