St. Thomas More Cathedral School is seeking a dynamic, Christ-Centered School Librarian who inspires students and works collaboratively with colleagues to join our faculty for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Catholic faith, a love for children, strong communication skills, positive classroom management practices, and Virginia or VCEA licensure or be willing to work towards certification. Candidates must also be able to perform the following important job duties:
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and students to integrate library resources into the curriculum
- Instruct students how to find, evaluate, and safely use information effectively
- Proficient in library management systems, digital resources, and educational technology
- Commitment to fostering a reading culture within the school community
