School Building Maintenance, Part-Time

Responsibilities:

Assistance in maintaining aspects of the school. Conducting, under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs. Maintain safe working environment and assists other departments as needed.

Skills:

- Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner

-Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.

-Perform routine preventive maintenance.

-Perform minor building and equipment repairs.

-Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.

-Snow removal is required if applicable.

- Effective communication.

Experience

Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

Driver's License (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.25 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Yaphank, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
