Are you a skilled leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to ensure the smooth operations of commercial properties throughout PBM's portfolio. As a Project Manager, you will oversee staffing requirements, manage schedules, conduct site inspections, and collaborate closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
About the Position:
The primary role of this position is to ensure that the client’s needs are met based on contractual agreements. This entails maintaining buildings in a clean and efficient manner, responding to operational issues, and overseeing special projects.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and supervise the operations of commercial properties, ensuring they are sufficiently staffed and performing duties to clients' expectations.
- Create staff schedules, arrange for replacements and training as needed, and train workers in janitorial methods and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records, administer appropriate disciplinary actions, and investigate incidents/accidents.
- Perform site inspections, respond to client complaints, and create nightly activity reports for management.
- Provide safety compliance information, pull and close work orders, and develop control databases for each location/tenant.
- Assist in project start-ups, organize construction cleanups, and back up other Area Managers as required.
- Collaborate with the Client Solutions team to acquire new jobs and provide labor estimates.
Competencies:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience in commercial buildings and tenant space.
- Familiarity with Union Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining janitorial equipment, inventory management, and budgeting.
- Willingness to respond to operational issues during nights and weekends, as needed.
Work Environment:
- Required travel by vehicle, foot, or public transportation.
- Flexibility with odd hours, including evenings and weekends on short notice.
- Physical demands of the job include bending, sitting, lifting, and driving.
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
Credentials/Experience:
- College degree preferred, or minimum 3 years related field experience.
- Knowledge of English and Spanish languages, written and spoken.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification is a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
