Hours: 8 AM-3:30 PM or 7 AM-2:30 PM

As a School-Based OT, you'll assume a pivotal role in nurturing students' development and independence, meticulously addressing their unique needs in fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and school participation. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments to pinpoint students' strengths and challenges in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Craft individualized treatment plans and deploy evidence-based interventions, facilitating students in achieving their educational goals and actively participating in classroom activities.
- Forge close collaborations with teachers, parents, and educational professionals, implementing strategies that bolster students' success in the school environment.
- Deliver direct one-on-one or group therapy sessions tailored to students' needs and goals, employing imaginative and engaging activities to amplify learning and skill development.
- Maintain precise and timely records of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions.
- Counsel and educate school staff, parents, and caregivers on effective techniques and modifications to champion students' occupational therapy goals in diverse settings.
- Stay abreast of the latest best practices and advancements in occupational therapy, actively participating in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Must Possess a Masters degree in occupational therapy.
- Must hold an active state licensure or exhibit eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate prior experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Showcase strong interpersonal and munication skills, fostering effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate adaptability in applying therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
